LEAP School Lexington,MA is our original location. It is hard to imagine that we started in the basement of the Trinity Covenant Church. Oh, how far we have come from those “rough and tumble playgrounds” of the past. The ground has gotten softer and our play equipment is so much safer and more educationally interactive. This location has two schools—a lower and upper—with bright, spacious rooms and lots of places to enjoy the outdoors; plus each building has space for visiting yoga, music, drama, or science teachers. Vicki Roux, Program Director at LEAP Lexington, has been an educator since 1980, initially focused on working with children with special needs and overseeing summer camps during college. With a degree in Child Development and Family Relations, she joined LEAP in 1987 as a Creative Arts Teacher, later becoming the Lower School Program Director in 1991.
